“Seva brings merit. Merit allows you to go deeper in meditation; Meditation brings back your smile.” Sri Sri
Ashram life has always had a place of high relevance since the ancient times. The strains of daily life can sometimes be extremely draining and affect us physically, mentally and emotionally. Ashram life, complete with Sadhana, simple sattvic meals, Seva, Satsang and the serene environment helps one get back in touch with the harmony within and offers an unique experience.
We learn important lessons in life only when we do something that is out of our routine existence and adopt a different style of living, even if it is for a short duration. Ashram life provides a wonderful opportunity to break your personal limitations and barriers and live only in service for others.
Ashram is a place to study, learn and grow. Many sevaks have shared that they have learnt some of the most vital skills by involving themselves completely with the activities in the ashram.
At the ashram we put our efforts and skills together to improve the place every day. There are countless oppurtunities to engage in a range of activities include gardening, housekeeping, construction, maintenance, kitchen work and areas that require skilled work such as medical, engineering, marketing, writing, designing etc.
General Seva mainly comprises of Seva in the Kitchen, Housing and Campus Maintenance. Those with specific skill set (e.g. civil engineer, electrical engineer, doctor etc) can render their Seva based on their skills sets or for General Seva.
