For those visiting just for a day here's what the Ashram offers:
For the health conscious, the Ashram offers Nadi Pareeksha or Ayurveda diagnosis based on pulse reading by our in-house Ayurvedic physician. The doctor can help you with a health plan charted according to your unique constitution.
You may book yourself for one of the relaxing massages offered at our Ayurvedic Spa - Sri Sri Panchakarma. Each session lasts for an hour so it leaves you enough time for other things.
The Ashram provides the perfect ambience to unwind and dive deep into meditation. Free guided meditations sessions are offered daily to all visitors at regular intervals.
Bus Tours of the Ashram:
If you wish to see more of the Ashram but have time constraints or find the Ashram too vast to explore by foot, free Bus Tours are available at the Information Center.
You can enjoy the peaceful Ashram ambience over a Happy Lunch with a friend in many ways. If you're looking for a quick dosa, eggless pastry without white sugar, fresh milk shake, mini meal or pasta with soup head for Cafe Vishala. Or if you're a stickler for nutrition Sri Sri Panchakarma's dining area offers fresh fruit and vegetable juices and a well presented and harmonious platter of assorted traditional vegetarian dishes. There's a fixed meal for the day as well as an ala carte menu, but bookings need to be made in advance. If you want to sample the delicious sattvik fare cooked for Ashram residents and guests on residential programs, for a nominal contribution unlimited food is offered at the Annapoorna Dining Hall.
If you're looking for exotic, traditional gifts to present to your near and dear ones Madhurya offers a wide range from clothes and jewellery to paintings, finely carved statues, lamps, furniture to what have you not! The tiny yet well stocked store across from Madhurya - Sri Kriti - offers a beautiful range of hand embroidered saris and bags made by the rural women. This is a women's empowerment project so the contribution of your purchase goes to the upliftment of rural women.
Looking for something to snack on - an energy bar, biscuits or cashew nuts and some general home provisions? The Divine Services has what you want.
In addition, the Ashram has two Divine Shops (one near Annapurna Dining Hall and the other the Sri Sri Wellness Center) which stock a wide range of spiritual books, music and knowledge tapes, and Ayurvedic cosmetics
Elevate your spirits by treating yourself to an evening Satsang of singing, dancing, meditating, and listening to deep wisdom. A revered saint recently observed, "Art of Living satsangs are not about meditation and celebration but rather celebration in meditation and meditation in celebration!" Satsangs take place between 6.30 – 8.00 pm in the beautiful Vishalakshi Mantap meditation hall. On Sundays the Satsang happens from 4.30 to 6.00 pm. Make sure to experience the lively flavor of our satsangs.
