We also have a well-developed railway system and many direct express trains from other cities in India. Also, a pre-paid government operated auto rickshaw and taxi service is located right outside both the airport and railway station. Taxi fare to the ashram from the airport is about Rs. 1,400; from Yeshwanthpur Railway Station it is about Rs. 650 and from Majestic (city) Railway Station, Rs. 550. Instruct the driver to take you to the ‘Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram’ at Udipalya. Allow at least 2.5 hours travel time to the ashram from the airport, 1.5 hours from Yeshwanthpur Railway Station and 1 hour from Majestic Railway Station. First time travellers are advised not to hire private taxi operators without verifying a proper license.

Please confirm the bus numbers mentioned below at the bus stop. Tell the driver you want to get down at the ‘Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram’ at Udipalya on Kanakapura Road. The Ashram Main Gate (Gate No. 5) is located close to the bus stop. The Main Reception is on the right hand side as soon as we enter from the main gate. Since there is only one direct bus (211F) to the ashram from the Majestic Circle Bus Stand, it is always advisable to get off at the Banashankari Temple Bus Stand instead. From Yeshwanthpur Railway Station, there are many buses to Majestic Railway Station. From there one can follow the instructions below.

To reach the Art of Living International Center from Bengaluru, travel via Banashankari Temple on Kanakapura Road (Old Mysore Road). Continue south towards Kanakapura for about 15 kms. After the village of Udipalya, you will get a glimpse of the Vishalakshi Mantap (a lotus-like structure) on your right about half a kilometre before the ashram Main Gate (Gate No. 5). Enter the Main Gate and drive down to the main reception.
