Follow Up Sessions

Art of Living centers around the world offer weekly drop-in group practice sessions open to all who have completed the Art of Living Course. These sessions are facilitated by an Art of Living teacher and are offered free of charge. Group practice sessions – also referred to as “satsangs” – are a place for you to refresh your experience with the breathing techniques, reinforce your home practice, and be in community with fellow practitioners. 7: Meditation is to be done only when you are older, when you have nothing else to do. Isn't it only for the oldies? A: Wouldn't you prefer to have a focussed mind and sharp intellect at 18 rather than 80? Wouldn't you rather learn to handle stress, work and relationships right away!


6.) I go to the gym everyday and I feel great. I guess that takes care of my physical and mental health. why do I need to do this course? A:Meditation will compliment your practice of going to the Gym and vice versa. Research says that people who have lesser stress, their bodies respond faster to physical exercise and for people who have fit bodies meditation becomes that much easier.


5) define meditation. A: Mediation is a delicate art of doing nothing. Meditation is something that adds time to your day and energy to your body and mind.


4) meditation is a personal choice. why should i tell others to do it? A: it has become a personal and social necessity. a person feeling negative or depressed pollutes his/her surrounding with those unseen vibrations. Only when you are relaxed and stress free, full of love and joy, can you spread those lively vibes around you, through your thoughts, words or actions.
