Follow Up Sessions

Art of Living centers around the world offer weekly drop-in group practice sessions open to all who have completed the Art of Living Course. These sessions are facilitated by an Art of Living teacher and are offered free of charge. Group practice sessions – also referred to as “satsangs” – are a place for you to refresh your experience with the breathing techniques, reinforce your home practice, and be in community with fellow practitioners. To find the Art of Living center closest to you, use the site locator at the top right-hand corner of this page to navigate to local to state websites.

Anirudh Singh

I had always heard and seen people meditating, but never quite understood what "happens" or what one "does" for meditation ; until 24th Feb 2009 - when I was initiated into the ART OF LIVING Family; with my Part-1 Basic Course. And then - the flight began! I have since then been practicing Meditation everyday! And it has been a truly enriching and transforming experience for me - since every day's meditation brings is different from the previous days! It brings in newer insights, and more depth! I have become more observant of my inner thoughts, and my awareness has increased. Not only that - it has helped me become calmer and centered more focused and also my Intuitive skills have sharpened a lot ever since I started meditating. And the Sahaj Samadhi Meditation is like Instant Coffee - in almost no time you're transported to a different realm! Such is the power of the Guru Mantra in Sahaj! Meditation is going to be 1 habit I am going to keep for all time to come! It truly is the art of doing NOTHING!

When I was 16 years, I wanted to do meditation, and started trying it out through books and trial and error. I had one good experience and failed to achieve it later. So I gave up on meditation. Later when I started learning Sahaj, I could relate directly when the teacher said, 'It's not about the experience, but the benefits to your mind and body.' This was such an Aha!-experience, and by proper guidance it has made all the difference in my life. I started using alcohol and hashish at the age of 15, but it continued very quickly into amphetamine, ecstasy, Rohypnol and more. But now, I am happy to have dropped this habit. People think they will become happy if they get the nicest house and the coolest car. But happiness comes from within.

The Youth Empowerment Seminar has helped me immensely.I have been dependent on drugs for a while.I never thought I had the stamina to live without them. Amazingly, I am more calm and happy now.I have discovered a new energy in myself.
