Indo-Pak dialogue process should continue: Ravi Shankar

"Dialogue (Indo-Pak talks) should continue (despite the Mumbai attacks). It would be continued," Ravi Shankar told reporters after inaugurating a Ma Sharika Meditation Centre at Raipur area in the outskirts of Jammu city this evening. "But at the same time stringent measures should be taken (to deal with the terrorism)," he said. In reply to the question about the present security situation in Jammu and Kashmir as compared to last few years, Ravi Shankar said "There is peace in Kashmir this year. Time is better than last year for normal life". "A better environment is prevailing. Locals are very happy," said Ravi Shankar, who had returned after 2-day visit of the Kashmir Valley. Read more
