Pune’s Triveni Ashram- A place where you meet yourself

An Ashram is a place that provides a conducive environment to attain deep rest- physical, mental and spiritual. An Ashram is a place where Peace abounds and is open to ALL.

This is a place where you wake up not with the sound of an alarm, but with the chirping of the birds and the crowing of the cocks, where there are no over powering perfumes, instead soft and fresh fragrances of flowers; where there are no air conditioners but cool gentle breeze that caresses you. Above all, a place that is abundant with Love, Caring and Giving.

Triveni Ashram, Markal is the Art Of Living's Ashram in Pune. Blessed with natural beauty and landscape that touches the river Bheema on one side and the river Indrayani on the other, the Ashram has a spectacular view.

Situated at a distance of about 10 Kms from Alandi, the Ashram is walking distance from the holy place Sangameshwar- a ‘Sangam’ or confluence of 3 pious rivers- Bhima, Bhama and Indrayani. Thus, the name Triveni for the Ashram was a natural choice.

The Ashram came into being in January 2008 with the hard work, contribution, and selfless service of the ever-smiling Art of Living volunteers. Ever since several thousand people have come here to meditate, serve and rediscover themselves and the joy in their lives.

The Ashram is spread over 32 acres of land and presently has a capacity to accommodate more than 300 people. It houses two Meditation Halls, open amphitheater, an Equipped Kitchen, Vegetable Farm Land and a 'Gau-Shala' [CowShed] with loving cows.

Every time one visits the Ashram, one is awestruck with the remarkable speed of work and the tireless commitment of the volunteers to make this place more beautiful and comfortable for fellow visitors.

It’s inspiring to see that this beautiful place which has given immeasurable peace, everlasting smiles and inner joy to thousands and will continue to do the same for millions of more people in the future, has been built purely with the contribution of volunteers and devotees.
