Inaugurates the Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital

Bangalore, Oct. 7: “A society’s health is indicated by the number of empty beds in the hospital. The last decade has seen a paradigm shift in the health of people. In our Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital, we have adopted the modern research with an ancient soul. Our aim is to take this system of medicine to the rural population,” said Art of Living Founder, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar as he addressed a gathering at the Art of Living International Center, today, on ‘Ayurveda – An ancient treasure for global health’.

The talk followed the inauguration of The Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital by Gurudev in the presence of Sri S.A. Ramadas, Medical Education Minister; Sri R. V. Deshpande, Former KPCC President ; Vaidya Raghunanda Sharma, President, Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM); Vaidhya Balendu Prakash, Founder VCP Cancer Research Institute; Abhinaya Sharade Smt. Jayanthi , Actress; Sri Tiru Swamiji, Director, ISKCON along with Vaidhya Suresh Chaturvedi, Senior Physician of Ayurveda.

Appreciating the newly inaugurated research center, Sri S.A Ramdas said, “The next decade belongs to Ayurveda. We see people from the other countries coming to India to learn this ancient science. Research scholars of Ayurveda and Naturopathy should win the Nobel and I hope that this institute becomes a pioneer in this direction.”
