Confluence of 1100 veenas celebrates music and meditation in Bangalore city

Over 1100 "Veena Vadak" together on one stage will create history on March 28, 2012 at Palace Grounds, Bangalore. Organised by The Art of living with Rajani Kalakendra aims to foster India’s ancient heritage of classical music, uplift and showcase the skills of the younger generation of veena practitioners and to epitomize the unifying power of music to spread the message of universal peace and harmony. The event will attempt to enter Guinness World Record.

Sri D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Ho'ble Chief Minister of Karnataka; Sri. H. R. Bharadwaj, Hon'ble Governer of Karnataka; Sri Aravind Limbavalli, MLA; Sri R.V.Deshpande, President, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee; Sri Venkatachalaiah, Former Chief Justice of India; Sri Tiru Swamiji, Isckon; Dr. P. Dayanand Pai, Chairman of Century group; Sri PC Mohan, Member, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP); Sri Ashok Kheny; among others are expected to be a part of the event.
