LADY FROM CONNECTICUT, U.S.A

LADY FROM CONNECTICUT, U.S.A: Dearest Gurudev, in view of the recent tragedy in Connecticut, more than ever, children and their families are in need of physical, mental and psychological healing. Specifically, how can Connecticut community begin to heal? Where should our primary focus be placed in establishing the long lasting positive change for children and the families in Connecticut?

GURUDEV SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR: Yes, my prayers are with the people who have suffered from this unforgettable trauma. This is something that should wake up the world to take stringent laws of gun culture. I am so pained, but we need to move on, we need to educate our people to have the courage to move on. You know what really helps is doing some breathing exercises and little bit of meditation. They help people to drop the past, and move to the future with more confidence. I am sure some trauma relief work along with this, can help people to cope with the terrible time that they have had in the past.

I think the whole world is joining me to wish well for the people, to move on to a happy future.
