诗丽‧诗丽‧完美瑜珈

诗丽‧诗丽‧完美瑜珈系统 (Sri Sri Yoga),是由《生活的艺术》基金会的创办者,诗丽‧诗丽‧若威香卡大师 (Sri Sri Ravi Shankar) 设计的一系列课程所构成。

身体层面上,瑜珈练习可以强化、延展、补充肌肉组织,有助於强健骨骼和雕塑身形。瑜珈姿势的维持停留,可以燃烧脂肪并降低胆固醇。而瑜珈的呼吸则为心脏带回更多的氧气,滋养全身系统。然而,瑜珈最大的功效是在心灵层面。我们都知道,心灵的平静远胜於优美诱人的形体。透过瑜珈的练习,绝对有益於外貌形体的改善,然而一个瑜珈习练者,他的微笑和眼神所散发出的光采,那才真的是他最大的收获。

调身法(体位法)的重要性

梵文asana这个字的定义是「姿势」,字面上的意义是「坐席」。调身法原本是要锻炼姿势的稳定,为长时间的静坐作准备。调身法不只是身体的伸展而已,还能够净化、强化身体,使心神专注。调身法代表了传统的瑜珈八肢中的一肢。根据经典所说,每一个调身法的动作,都应该是既稳定且令人享受的,既稳固又放松的。
