A meditation retreat provides the perfect oportunity to refresh, to relax...and to let go of any stress. Many wonder what meditation is, why we should meditate or how we can meditate. The Art of Living's Sahaj Meditation shows that every person innately has the ability to meditate... it just needs a few days of guidance and instruction from a trained teacher.

Sahaj Meditation is a powerful yet effortless technique that allows the conscious mind to experience the silent depths of its own nature. The profound relaxation the practice of Sahaj Meditation brings to the mind and body results in clearer thinking, increased energy, enhanced performance, better physical health, improved relationships and greater peace of mind. Modern research is showing amazing health benefits too.

What is Meditation?

Meditation is consciously returning to the present and allowing the mind to enter a deep state of relaxation. More refreshing than sleep, meditation helps to energize us and provides us with energy and clarity to successfully and stress-lessly handle the scenarios we face in day to day life.

Everyone has experienced a meditative state, whether in moments of deep joy, or when completely engrossed in an activity, when just for a moment the mind becomes so light and at ease.

Why Meditate?

Upon finishing your meditation you will find that you feel infused with these qualities of energy, clearer thinking, creativity and perhaps most importantly, deep inner peace. Meditation is the key to mind management and to living with a relaxed awareness throughout the day. Through meditation, we tap an unlimited reservoir of energy, intelligence and creative power and a place of infinite peace and tranquility.
