On International Happiness Day (March 21), The Art of Living is celebrating the International Happiness Festival in Tokyo, Japan.

On United Nations’ International Happiness Day, The Art of Living is hosting the International Happiness Festival (IHF) 2015 at Tokyo, Japan on 20th March 2015. In the presence of His Holiness Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of The Art of Living, IHF 2015 aims to commemorate the values that have made Japan what it is today and to bring people together in a spirit of friendship, harmony and celebration.

The rich tradition, culture and philosophy of Japan has inspired the world in several spheres and sowed the seeds of improvement and change for the best. The entire world has benefited by the Japanese Kaizen practice, discipline, teamwork, technology.. The key objective of this festival is to now experience and share the processes and technology to increase individual and societal happiness.

Talented artists across various genres from Japan, India, Romania, America, France, Canada and many other countries will be performing at IHF 2015. Programs range from traditional Japanese dance to modern Yoga dance, soul stirring spiritual songs to lively jazz music, precious knowledge to deep meditation with Gurudev. The event will culminate with a Dandiya performance from the professional Tokyo troupe who promises to have the entire audience swaying to their lively music.

The Art of Living has been actively involved in inculcating human values, yoga and meditation as a practice since last 34 years in 152 countries and reaching out to over 370 million people. Living the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, or a One World Family, the Art of Living through this festival aspires to bring together world cultures to celebrate their uniqueness, beauty and traditions.
