Hurricane Sandy Relief

In October 2012 the storm surge of Hurricane Sandy hit the states of New Jersey and New York flooding streets, tunnels and subway lines; cutting off power and access to food and medicine; and taking many lives in its wake.

As numerous relief agencies and volunteers brought food and supplies to the people of these devastated areas, The Art of Living Foundation (AOL) and our partner organization the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) brought powerful techniques to help people, mostly those living in shelters, cope with their trauma and help to establish inner silence and peace of mind.
