Yogathon – 2014

Yogathon Challenge is a unique fitness event that requires participants to perform 54 sets of Surya Namaskar in a stipulated time. Event Date: Dec.14, 2014.

Yogathon, an Art of Living initiative, is being conducted on 14th December 2014 with the inspiration of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The objective of Yogathon is to make people aware of the benefits of yoga and inculcate its practice. All people from age 8-80 are invited to participate in this unique event. Those who wish to challenge themselves can participate in ‘Yogathon Challenge’ where they will compete to finish 54 sets, i.e. 108 rounds of Surya Namaskar in a stipulated time. All participants will be given Spirit of Yoga, E- Certificates. Those who compete in the Yogathon Challenge will receive a E-Gold Certificate.

This unique event was first conducted on 7th April 2012 in 2242 venues across 26 states, 4 union territories. It inspired over 1.3 million people to learn Surya Namaskar and inculcate its practice.

This unique event, 'Yogathon Challenge' will inspire people to learn Surya Namaskar, participate to check how many rounds they can complete.

The Yogathon Challenge allows you to participate to the best of your ability. It challenges you to complete 54 sets (108 rounds) of Surya Namaskar.
