Sri Sri and Dr. Roger Teel, Senior Minister of Mile Hi Church set an intention for the community to remove the darkness of ignorance and bring forth the light of love and peace. Sri Sri told the audience of 1,400 “We’re all part of one universal spirit and we play many roles in our lives.”
The audience sought Sri Sri’s advice on a range of life topics from compassion, anger to fear. “Our whole being speaks through the eyes. Everyday, we say ‘thank you’ and ‘I’m sorry’ so many times, but we don’t really mean it – like the flight attendant saying ‘have a good day’. The words are superficial. Life is to be lived at the meaning level. Stay centered and connected. Balance the mind and heart, love and logic,” he said.
