Everyone may not understand the value of a having a bearded, robe-wearing Guru from India. It might not be crystal clear what the big deal is about meditation or wisdom from thousands of years ago. All of this might appear foreign and confusing.

But, when you are around Sri Sri Ravi Shankar you cannot miss seeing a person overflowing with laughter, wisdom, compassion and love - exploding with life itself.

Thank you to the most amazing person I have met on this planet, to someone who reminded me of the simple truths I knew as a kid, to the value of giving and my connection to everyone, who showed me the power of silence, and turned my attention away from the small and fleeting events to the incredible life inside.

Thank you for not hiding in a cave somewhere, content in your own bliss, but instead for choosing a life of non-stop work, teaching me and millions of other people the incredible tools that allow the life inside to grow and shine brighter, which has made my life more meaningful and joyful each year.

I was lost in the web of lies,

Santa Claus, - our Guruji
A symbol of generosity
His laugh, is joy from our joy,
What he gives us isn't simply just a toy

A mind with unrest and hesitation
Was calmed with his 20 minute meditation
Kids questioned him
As he answered with his unfazed whim

Then he took his much awaited flight
To another land in the darkness of the night
We waved till he went off our sight
In another land to show the light

And then You understand how magic works,
You'd see he's more than
Just a symbol of peace upon this earth!

You Make Me think the Way You want and Tell me thoughts are Meaningless !
You Make Me Lose My Senses and tell me to be more sensitive !
You Make Me Broaden My Vision and Tell me this is all an illusion !

YES! You were the one who made Me and tell me it all just Happened !!

O my heart,
thank you for being in me, and I in you.
I know that we are one,
you a part of me and me a part of you
and that I never need to thank you (see, I listened)
but I do, because if there's anyone I want to thank,
It's you.

I try to be the best person I can (don't try, do)
But it just doesn't seem to be working for me,
And I wonder what it is I'm doing wrong.
and if it weren't for you, I would be tempted to quit
but how could I do that, when it is who I am.

You have my heart, my life, dearest Lord
and I have to ask
Is it because no one else wants it?
Or because that's where it belongs.

And I feel your grace surround me,

I am so amazed Gurudev to realize that you are taking care of me, with so much care and so much love. You are so beautiful Gurudev. Your Grace is there in every breath of this life . It comes and it does its work, leaving me in wonder. Gurudev, my prayers are heard, I do meditation with param sankalpa and it is already happening. My expectations are going down and miracles are happening, bringing in so much amazement. Your love is so, so, so vast. Many of my family members are coming on the path and their devotion, faith , sattvic nature is blossoming.
