HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar appeals for peace in Punjab

BANGALORE: Renowned spiritual leader Poojya Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has appealed to Dera Sacha Sauda chief Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and Sikh leaders to work for restoring peace in Punjab at the earliest.

In a statement, Sri Sri who has just returned from a peace mission to Iraq requested the Sikh leaders and the Dera to peacefully resolve their differences. Sri Sri urged the leaders to appeal to their followers to desist from anything that will harm the composite, harmonious and progressive culture for which Punjab is known.
