Cursos de Cocina

El curso está orientado a toda persona interesada en mejorar su calidad de vida, optimizando su energía vital a través de la alimentación. 

Durante tres encuentros, abordamos una cocina natural, confluyendo conocimientos ayurvedas, macrobióticos y naturistas/crudivoristas; desde un lugar lúdico y creativo. La propuesta es descubrir, a través de semillas, cereales, legumbre, hierbas, especias, algas, etc; una fuente de energía y bienestar físico, mental y espiritual.  Comenzamos cada clase con una meditación guiada, buscando que la mente se expanda y los sentidos se agudicen.  
Las clases son teórico-prácticas y participativas. Incluye degustación en cada encuentro. 
No es necesario experiencia previa en el ámbito gastronómico ni en otros cursos de la Fundación El Arte de Vivir.

I did The YES!+ course from ART OF LIVING FOUNDATION in Sept 2006.It has been the greatest thing I ever did. Coming to IIT for an M.Tech. I was really thrown into a serious mess, where I was unable to cope up with the high standards of professionalism. I was unable to perform to the best of my abilities. The atmosphere here was no doubt the best in terms of infrastructure and academics but I was feeling absolutely cornered and dejected. There seemed to be no way by which I could revert back to my happy, calm and relaxed self and as a result I could only get an SPI of 8.05. My DGPA for the B.Tech was 9.23. After doing the course, and practicing the techniques regularly, I was able to gather myself. I started feeling at home at IIT. I do not think I gave extra efforts or anything but this calm and relaxed temperament helped me to secure an SPI of 9.4 the very next semester. I never thought I would be back to my old self despite so much of prevailing competition and peer pressure. Today I am enjoying the life here in IIT and Mumbai. Thanks to YES!+.

Everything began after my father death he had a long sickness. My health began to deteriorate, muscular pains, fatigue and sleepless nights. I looked for help with a rheumatologist who diagnosed me rheumatic related illness and prescribed me a series of medications to be taken, in order to reconcile my sleep (drugs), to mitigate the fatigue and the pain. I began the school year 2004 with a lot of uneasiness which forced me to very often incapacities and I will generally work without willingness of carrying out any task, this motivated me to begin looking for other alternatives to improve my health. I informed myself of the breathing courses and I attended the basic course. The instructor of that basic course advised me to continue with the silence course, during which I began to feel great well-being at a physical level. I stopped taking medications for pain and fatigue, but continued with the sleeping medicine. After the course, I left the medications to get sleep and until today's day I don't require of any medication and I apply in my daily life the basic principles of the Art of Living, which has allowed me to continue carrying out the regularly activities that usually carried out (exercising, working, walking, plus home activities).

I work in the Curundu area with high-risk youth. Because they are a pretty difficult group but through the programs of the project we have seen the change in them. . . . I was on insulin injections since August 1996. My sugar level was 29. 7. I used to inject myself twice daily for the past five and half years. Thanks for the course which changed my life. Two days after the course my doctor told me to stop injections and tried tablets which did not work. I can hardly believe it but it was true. I am now on diet only. I was diagnosed as having thalassaemia (anaemia). The medication I used to take was as follows: 6 Ferrous Sulphate tablets per day 6 Folic Acid tablets per day 6 Pyridoxine (B6) tablets per day. I also required a B12 injection every third week. Since I did the Basic course and DSN Course also in 1999, I began practising Sudarshan Kriya regularly. My condition improved to such an extent that I no longer depended on the above medications. It has been nearly two years since I have stopped taking any medication.

Nine years ago I underwent surgery for a thyroidectomy. After this operation I had to take one Eltroxin tablet per day, as a supplement in order to replace the hormone thyroxin. This tablet was taken for eight years. I began practising the Sudarshan Kriya regularly. Within six months I went for regular Thyroid function tests. My doctor discovered that there was no longer any need to take Eltroxin as the tests were completely normal.

My name is Sophia Mafuwa. I am 45 years of age, from 83 Airport Road, Bulawayo. I have been struggling with hypertension since 1995 up to recently when I started the exercise with the Art of Living Foundation. In February 2005 I had taken the Breath, Water, Sound workshop. Since I started these exercises my health has improved so much, especially my hypertension which used to range from 150/100 to 180/120 had been reduced to 130/90. I also used to suffer from stomach ulcers but due to the exercises and food awareness taught on the course and the restricted diet I am following, I have not had too many problems with them anymore. Thanks to these exercises, my health has drastically improved and I thereby encourage everyone out there to be involved in such exercises because they turn out to be very helpful and healthy.

I used to suffer of colitis and chronic gastritis. I had had fungus in the fingernails of my feet for many years, when I began to practice the breathing techniques, one of my feet was totally healed, the other one, it has been partially healed. The colitis disappeared and the gastritis stays in a light level without bothering; my arterial pressure and my levels of sugar improved to such a degree that the doctors have taken me away the medications I had to take every day to control them. Emotionally I recovered the happiness again and my physical appearance has changed positively.

I took the basic Course in the year 1997 with the dear Enrique Ferreira like Instructor. For those days I was extremely affected by Rheumatoid Arthritis and an Anaemia which practically had me with very scarce mobility, to the point that I arrived to the course almost carried by my friends and course partners. That weekend was wonderful, during the first Kriya, Enrique had to wake me up from time to time because I felt asleep due to my condition; but a second it was the explosion: I began to cry and to cry without being able to stop and I felt like to cry with fury but I didn't know why. In certain moment I stopped to weeping and such a wave of laughs came and laughter that literally failed on the floor. I returned home without any pain and with an overflowing happiness. My husband and my son were with their open mouth, when they saw me go up the house stairways, dancing Cumbia!!!!They had seen me go up them very slowly, with a lot of difficulty, leaning on in the handrails or sitting, rotating the steps. The physical recovery was alone a flash of the changes in my interior: today I know what the forgiveness is, the happiness, is the detachment, the happiness, and many other beautiful things. I am instructor of RAS. , I collaborate with the administrative part of the Foundation and with the Books and Tapes sales. I give thanks to Sri Sri and I am willing to serve Him and the Foundation in whatever way He wishes.

I had around three years of not sleeping appropriately since I should take care of my sick son. This kept me stressed, I had chest pain, and suffered a rhythm heart disease. One night I prayed to Jesus for Mercy to help me because I felt so exhausted. Three days later watching television I found out about the breathing courses and I carried out a small practice directed by instructor Naline who motivated me to take the course. It impacted me a lot in that moment the sweetness and the love that it reflected her and the importance that had the inhalation and the exhalation and I took conscience that I didn't know how to breathe appropriately. When I carried out the first breathing course I experienced an ecstasy and a great liberation, starting from the second Kriya I was removed from the pain in my chest, I didn't have fainting until today's day.
