This workshop will feature practical strategies to handle stress, build resilience, inspire leadership and teamwork, as well as an introduction to the YES! for Schools Student Curriculum. The experiential curriculum is a combination of physical exercises, breathing strategies, relaxation practices, and practical life wisdom that gives individuals the ability to connect with and inspire peers, to communicate with clarity and confidence, and to remain positive and transform challenges into opportunities.
Participants report that the IAHV S.M.A.R.T Course improves work-life balance, fosters greater ethics and integrity, boosts team morale, and promotes a positive attitude that supports a healthy learning environment.

TESTIMONIALS FROM EDUCATORS
“I took the this course myself. It gave me, as an adult, the time to stop and reflect and really understand what’s important to me, and see what I have control over what I don’t have control of. It helps not let the train of life just pass you by and go ahead, but put yourself in perspective, and remember what you can and cannot do and be okay with that. But without the strategies this is hard to do. So I would encourage the teachers and educators to take this program as well, so they can find a moment in their busy lives to introspect†- VITO CHIALA, PRINCIPAL, WILLIAM C. OVERFELT HIGH SCHOOL, SAN JOSE, CA
"During my thirty-five year career as a public school teacher and administrator no other course, workshop, or seminar has been more beneficial. The tools provided in the course greatly enhanced my ability to manage the stress I encountered while working as a teacher and administrator. I highly recommend this course for educators." - TIMIZA WAGNER, VICE PRINCIPAL, WILLIARD MIDDLE SCHOOL, BERKELEY, CA
