Sri Sri welcomes Suu Kyi's release

BANGALORE: Art of Living spiritual head Sri Sri has welcomed the release of Burmese leader Aung San Suu Kyi and said it would inspire the younger generation.

In a statement on Sunday, Sri Sri said: "Aung San Suu Kyi symbolizes the values of non-violence, democracy and freedom of expression. She represents the spiritual strength of Asia and has demonstrated how love and pro-active acceptance can conquer all odds. Her release is a welcome step and brings fresh hope to the younger generation."
