A candlelight memorial vigil is held at the Opera House, Mumbai after the site was affected by a bomb blast.
Victims of the serial blasts in South Mumbai find solace in satsang, organized by volunteers of The Art of Living.
Participants of a candlelight vigil help each other light candles at the Opera House site.
The glow of lit candles serve as a remembrance of those affected by the coordinated bomb blasts in South Mumbai.
On 21 July, 2011, eight days after three coordinated bomb blasts affected Mumbai, satsang sooths nerves. “I feel much calmer and at peace now; the dreadful memory of what I witnessed on that day has eased away,” says Vipul Mangukiya, a diamond broker. He attended the special prayer and meditation session at the Opera House organized by The Art of Living for victims of the bomb blasts.
The evening saw diamond brokers in large numbers offering prayers for the victims of the blasts across Mumbai at the Pancharatna building. The prayer meeting was followed by a candlelight vigil at the Opera House blast site, in solidarity with all those affected by the blasts; with passersby joining in large numbers.
