Calm your world with techniques that work. Every time.
The best way to deal with the ever-changing outer world is to start within. You can become so centered and unshakeable - once you’ve acquired the tools to master your inner world.
The Sudarshan Kriya™ is an empowering breath-meditation technique that works like a natural and instant stress reliever, using specific rhythms of the breath.
With a 30-minute daily home practice, you can start every day feeling stress-free, with clarity and vibrance.
How does it work?

Step 1: Clear Stress from every cell of your body
The Sudarshan Kriya™ helps you eliminate accumulated stress and tension on a cellular level, removing negative emotions and toxins from your body, mind, and memory. It’s a deep purification for your entire system..
Step 2: Experience deep meditation
Once the negativity is dropped and the stress is released you can deeply relax. Your looping thoughts dissolve and your mind finally grows quiet. A clutter-free mind is an essential ingredient to let go in meditation.
Step 3: Connect to your inner peace
You’ll find that with a clear and calm state of mind, your perception of life begins to change. Resilience and focus emerge as the body and mind gain strength. You are now better equipped to deal with life’s many challenges.

FAQs
While breathing happens automatically, most of us are unaware that working with the breath can give us the ability to manage our mind and emotions. In fact, every emotion you experience has a corresponding rhythm in the breath. By changing the rhythms of breath, you can change your emotions.
For example, you’ll learn “Ujjayi”, which makes your breath long
and smooth, bringing you back to a calm and relaxed mind. Another technique called “Bhastrika” will give you a boost of energy and focus. The pillar of the workshop, Sudarshan Kriya™, uses specific rhythms of breath to clear negative impressions at a cellular level, increasing your overall health and sense of well-being. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly the breath can calm the mind and how easy meditation can be.
In addition to a series of introductory breathing exercises (pranayamas), The Art of Living Part 1 course features a unique breathing technique called Sudarshan Kriya™. Many people who’ve practiced other breathwork and meditation techniques have experienced the Sudarshan Kriya™ as the most effective and profound technique they’ve ever learned.
By eliminating fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, more joy and happiness can enter your life. It leaves you feeling calm yet energized, focused yet relaxed.
Here are a few notable results conducted in numerous peer-reviewed studies:
- Up to 87.5% reduction in stress bio-marker levels (serum cortisol and blood lactate) [4, 6, 14]
- 33% increase in the well-being hormone prolactin from the very first session [26]
- Relieves depression in 67-73% of participants within one month (across over a dozen studies). [2, 4, 8-14]
- Relieves anxiety in 71% of individuals for whom medication and psychotherapy treatments had failed. [1]
- 3x more time spent in deep restful stages of sleep. [21]
- Increased levels of antioxidant enzymes which protect us from many diseases and rapid aging. [6, 23, 27]
- Reduced blood pressure in both healthy and health compromised individuals. [25,30]
- Improved cholesterol and triglyceride profile. [24] [6,28]
- Greater mental focus in regular practitioners (significantly greater EEG Beta wave activity) [20]

Research shows physical and mental health benefits are often shown from the very first session. The results are cumulative; they increase over time.
They also display long-term effects. In one study cited by Prevention Magazine, not only did the participants’ anxiety reduce by 44%, the benefits lasted 6 months. Results from studies on people with PTSD and depression also show substantially sustained effects.
