Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Founder, Art of Living Foundation

"Whenever you are in love and feel joyous, your mind is in the present. That is when you achieve yoga. The art of living lies in being in the present moment."

The Art of Living

Founded in 1981 by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, The Art of Living is an educational and humanitarian movement engaged in stress-management and service initiatives. The organization operates globally in 155 countries and has touched the lives of over 370 million people.

The programs are guided by Gurudev’s philosophy of peace: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world peace.” To help individuals get rid of stress and experience inner peace, The Art of Living offers stress-elimination programs which include breathing techniques, meditation, and yoga. These programs have helped millions around the world to overcome stress, depression and violent tendencies.

The movement has spread peace across communities through diverse humanitarian projects, including conflict resolution, disaster relief, sustainable rural development, empowerment of women, prisoner rehabilitation, education for all, and environmental sustainability.

The International Association for Human Values

The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) was created in Geneva in 1997 by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar as a global platform for humanitarian initiatives that solve problems by uplifting human values.

IAHV’s mission is to foster a deeper understanding of the values which unite us as a global community and to encourage their practice in everyday life. IAHV implements grassroots programs for stress reduction and for socioeconomic development of rural and impoverished areas so human values can flourish in people and communities. Its programs enhance clarity of mind, shift attitudes and behaviors, and develop leaders and communities that are resilient, responsible, and inspired.

Through its country organizations and partners, IAHV conducts service projects and raises funds for humanitarian and disaster relief initiatives throughout the world. Over the past decade, IAHV India has successfully transformed distressed communities, and spread human values in the daily lives of millions through our numerous service initiatives.

These present a wonderful opportunity to create Corporate Social Partnerships that can make a difference to the world.

Art of Living Corporate Programs

The Art of Living Corporate Programs is a portfolio of learning and development solutions that address self-mastery and behavioral capabilities across all levels in organizations, including the top leadership. These solutions are built on a foundation of proven and powerful breath and mind-based techniques interwoven with pervasive management and leadership principles from the ancient and the modern.

The unique value proposition of these programs is the approach to personal transformation:
It is based on the principle of serene dynamism: a poised mind holds the key to consistent high performance. We can access our own capabilities and potential in far more effective manner by removing the inner obstacles that block us from leveraging them. The journey of this intrinsic transformation is not limited to concepts and models but extends to actual experiences and practical takeaway tools to sustain the benefits beyond the program.
