Sri Sri Yoga – Path to a stress-free body and mind
Sri Sri Yoga celebrates the diversity in yoga in a simple and joyful manner. We combine yoga essentials: breathing techniques, stretching, yoga postures, meditation, relaxation and yogic knowledge. By incorporating all these beautiful facets of yoga, we are able to look beyond the level of the physical body and really sharpen our sensitivity and awareness of subtler levels of existence. The practise of Sri Sri Yoga cultivates a healthier and happier lifestyle
The theme being promoted by The Art of Living for this year’s International Day of Yoga is #PromiseToYoga. Promise to Yoga is an honest effort to urge people to come onto their mats so that they can live more conscious and genuine lives. The purpose of yoga is to smile in spite of all the tensions and stresses, or situations or people, in day-to-day life.
Vrikshasana Challenge
The Tree Pose asana is one of the few standing postures developed during medieval hatha yoga and is still widely practiced today.
Vrikshasana has several advantages.
Among them are the following:
- Equilibrium to your mind
- Improved concentration
- Relief from some instances of sciatica
- Legs, back, and arms are stretched well
- Stronger legs, improved balance, and hip opening
During the three-day Yoga Program, we teach Vrikshasana. Participate in the challenge, and if you can hold the Tree Pose for one minute, you'll get a Certificate!

7 year Anniversary - Common Yoga Protocol
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar commemorated the 1st International Day of Yoga and continues to inspire millions. In both public and indoor events, he demonstrates simple Asanas and shares words of wisdom. Some of his esteemed audiences include Ban Ki-moon, Geoffrey Van Orden, Jo Leinen, and Sushma Swaraj. During a curtain-raiser in Brussels, Belgium, he made a remarkable statement: "From GDP, we are moving to Gross Domestic Happiness (GDH)"
We invite you to celebrate IDY with us and the rest of the world by doing the Common Yoga Protocol.
