Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (frequently called "Guruji" or "Sri Sri") is a  world-renowned humanitarian, teacher and peace negotiator who has been working towards the goal of a stress-free society for the last half a century. Mainly through the activities Art of Living and International Association for Human Values, this message and the breathing techniques, yoga and meditation needed to achieve it, have touched the lives of over 
500 million people living in 180 countries. 

Born in 1956 in India, Gurudev was a talented child able to recite ancient texts from the BHagavad Gita at the age of four.  He founded the Art of Living and co-founded the International Association for Human Values,  offering educational and personal development programs to eliminate stress and encourage
peace and prosperity at every level of society.
