Celebrating Joy and Harmony 

Breath, water and Sound Workshop

 In light of the recent riots, Art of Living Centre, Singapore has launched a service project to Celebrate Joy and Harmony in Singapore. The aim of this project is to strengthen cohesive and resilient communities in Singapore by empowering migrant workers through stress relief and building inner confidence. We would like to offer free stress relief workshops for the migrant workers. 

We feel that these workshops could be a possible avenue for the migrant workers to spend a few hours meaningfully on their day off.

The workshops include two sessions which can be conducted over two Sundays or even weekday evenings. Each session is 1hour. We are also offering free refresher follow up monthly sessions for three months after the workshop.

These workshops have been conducted all over the world and have been very successful in lowering stress levels and in inspiring a greater sense of responsibility and community in the participants.

We invite all employers, dormitories and welfare associations to partner with us and avail this opportunity for organising free stressrelief developmental workshops for migrant workers.

 

What is Breath, Water Sound Workshop about?

The Breath-Water-Sound program seeks to address the challenges of economically and emotionally distressed communities by empowering them. The first step towards empowerment is stress-elimination and inner confidence. This is where the Breath-Water-Sound workshop comes in.

Simple breathing, sound relaxation, and meditation techniques are taught to relax the inpidual. These techniques teach people how to handle negative emotions such as anger, regret and depression.

The workshop provides tools that improve over-all health, wellness and increases enthusiasm and mental focus.  Participants learn simple yet powerful breathing, sound and meditation techniques which eliminate stress from the system so that the mind gains the clarity to solve problems.  When inpiduals are uplifted the whole community is enriched!

Each free BWS workshop consists of two sessions (1hr-1.5hrs each) followed by monthly refresher sessions for three months.

Follow up for Breath Water Sound Workshop?

We will meet all the participants once a month for a 1.5 hour refresher session for 3 months.  They are most welcome to join any of our other courses and programmes.
