I am a surgeon by profession and an Art of Living teacher. I have been associated with the organization since eight years. When I did the course, I was very restless on the first two days. But after Sudarshan Kriya I could feel some kind of change.

But I still doubted if it was happening to me only or to others as well. This is how I started volunteering. Till now I have volunteered for 32,000 people, even for tsunami relief. Every single person has benefited through the course.

Working for tsunami relief in Naggapatinam was really challenging. During tsunami it was difficult for people to close their eyes for even for a moment. Though the tsunami was over, the inner turmoil was high. When I told those people to close their eyes, one of them rushed to me and caught hold of my collar. He said, "Are you mad such a thing has happened and you are telling us to close our eyes." We just asked that person to cooperate. We were 10 teachers working together and on the eighth day of tsunami more than 5000 people meditated for half an hour. The district in-charge who had come to distribute relief material was amazed to see these people meditating. He said this is the kind of work we really need, because people are ready to supply material in abundance, but for the inner turmoil, The Art of living has done an excellent work. We did the YLTP program for the youth in Naggapatinam for 10 days. We observed such a transformation when the area was flooded with relief material from organizations throughout the world. They said, "Now we are self-sufficient to collect the material." They also collected material for a nearby area called Chidambram where the disaster had happened. The absolute blossoming that happens, words cannot explain.
