Millions around the globe celebrated the spirit of yoga with The Art of Living during the second International Day of Yoga. Yoga sessions based on the common yoga protocol were held in prisons, corporate offices (about 1000 locations), cargo ships, schools for specially-abled children, the Indo-Pak border and other locations.

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar inaugurated the International Day of Yoga Celebrations at the European Parliament, Brussels where he also interacted with parliament members in a Q&A session and conducted a guided meditation at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin Hall.
