Participation Policies

Delivery (Service Fulfillment) Policy

The Organization provides educational programs and workshops (in person and online). We do not sell or ship physical goods; “delivery” under this policy means the provision of the program or service you have registered and paid for.

Order confirmation

  • Upon successful completion of your payment through our website and payment gateway, you will receive a confirmation email to the email address provided at registration, normally within 24 hours. The confirmation includes your payment receipt and the details of the program you registered for (program name, dates, and format).
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of payment, please check your spam/junk folder and then contact us at support@shankarauniversal.co.or at +961.3.741603 (Phone/Whatsapp) with your name and the date of the transaction.

In-person programs

  • Venue details, schedule and any joining instructions are provided in the confirmation email or sent to your registered email address and/or phone number no later than 48 hours before the program start date. Where registration is completed less than 48 hours before the program start, these details are sent promptly after payment confirmation, and in any event before the program start time.

Online programs

  • Access links and/or login credentials for the Online Platform are sent to your registered email address and/or phone number no later than 24 hours before the program start time. Where registration is completed less than 24 hours before the program start, access details are sent promptly after payment confirmation, and in any event before the program start time. Access is personal to you and subject to the device and sharing restrictions set out in the User Agreement.

Pricing and currency

  • All program fees are displayed on the website in USD. The exact amount and currency charged to your card are displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.
  • Charges will appear on your card statement under the name ‘Art of Living Lebanon’.

Failure of delivery

  • If, due to a technical issue on our side, you paid for a program but did not receive access or joining details before the start of the program, you are entitled, at your choice, to a transfer to the next available program of the same type or a full refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or postponement by the participant

  • If you wish to cancel or postpone your registration seven (7) days or more before the program start date, you are entitled to a full refund of the program fee, processed in accordance with our Refund Policy.
  • If your cancellation request is received less than seven (7) days before the program start date, the fee is not refundable; however, you may transfer your registration and the full program fee to another program of the same type taking place within one (1) year after the end of the program originally registered for.
  • If you are unable to finish the program due to an emerging situation, you may take another program of the same type at no additional program fee; only the expense components of the new program (such as accommodation and food, where applicable) will be charged.

Cancellation or rescheduling by the Organization

  • If the Organization cancels or reschedules a program due to force majeure or an emerging situation, you will be offered, at your choice, a full refund of the program fee or a transfer of your registration to a rescheduled or equivalent program.

How to request a cancellation

  • Cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to support@shankarauniversal.co, stating your full name, the program name and date, and the email address used at registration. The date of receipt of your written request is the date used to determine eligibility under this policy.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any withdrawal or cancellation rights granted to consumers for distance contracts under Lebanese Consumer Protection Law No. 659/2005, which apply in addition to, and prevail over, this policy where mandatory.

By completing registration, the participant makes the following declaration, which is also presented for express acknowledgment during the registration/checkout process: “I request to participate in the program on its scheduled dates, even where the program begins before the expiry of any statutory withdrawal period, and I acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once the program has started.”

Refund Policy

  • Refund eligibility is determined by the Cancellation Policy above (participant cancellation seven days or more before the start date, cancellation or rescheduling by the Organization, or failure of delivery attributable to the Organization).
  • Approved refunds are processed exclusively to the original payment method used for the transaction (e.g., the same payment card, through our payment gateway) and in the same currency as the original transaction. We do not provide cash refunds for payments made by card or other electronic means.
  • We may take up to fifteen (15) days from approval of the refund request to process the refund. Your card issuer or bank may require additional time to post the refunded amount to your account.
  • To request a refund, write to support@shankarauniversal.cowith your full name, the program name and date, the email address used at registration, and the date and amount of the transaction.
