Guruji, in Christianity, we have a concept called angels and angel guides. Is there any such thing in Hinduism?
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Yes!! Most of these concepts are all in Hinduism also. In Christianity, they say, 'Jesus has died on the cross to take the sin of everybody.' That is what Lord Krishna also said, 'I will release you from all your sins, just take refuge in me. Aham tvaam sarva paapebhyo mokshayishyaami maa shucha.' Similarly, all the angels – what are devis and devataas? In Urdu, they are called farishtas. So many yakshas, yakshinis, devataas – all these are angels after all.
