Dear Gurudev, failures in life are opportunities for improvement. Can you please share any such experience in your own life?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar:

I haven’t been in a situation where I have to lament over failures, nor have I ever had to say sorry for having done some mistakes because it has never happened so far. Touch wood! I don’t think there is any chance for it to happen in the future also. Yet, everybody’s mistake is also my mistake; I take it that way. This is because if we had reached this knowledge to people earlier, then perhaps their mistakes would never have happened.

Once I went to address the prisoners of Naini Central Prison in Allahabad. Some of the prisoners were so transformed. At least two of them said, "If we had had this knowledge before, we would not have been here. Gurudev, you are responsible for us being here. Why didn’t you teach this knowledge earlier?"
I agreed with them. We should have taught this in schools and colleges. To prevent crime, we have to do this. So, in that sense, we are responsible, everyone is responsible!
