World Culture Festival Set To Take Place In New Delhi Next Month

Over 36,000 artists are expected to perform at the three-day festival between March 11th and 13th

The latest festival to hit Delhi features what looks like one of the largest lineup of artists assembled from across the world. The World Culture Festival [WCF] will host over 36,000 musicians, dancers and artists between March 11th and 13th to celebrate humanitarian non-profit organization, the Art of Living’s 35th anniversary.

The lineup includes the likes of Romanian pan flute musician Gheorghe Zamfir, Argentinian vocalist Patricia Sosa, Indian playback singer Hema Sardesai and many more. Says Dinesh Ghodke, Youth Director of Art of Living,“This is not just a concert from global artists but we see it as a celebration of the mind-boggling diversity in the world of music.”

If 36,000 artists in one place didn’t seem record-breaking enough, the WCF aims to revive a number of tribal art forms from around India, conduct the world’s largest peace meditation movement and create the world’s largest stage set up over an area of seven acres in an attempt to enter the Guinness Book of World Records.
