Rise for Humanity

The World Culture Festival 2016 is a celebration of The Art of Living’s 35 years of service, humanity, spirituality and human values.

Over the years, this work has influenced the lives of over 370 million people in 155 countries, spanning 6 continents.

A few common threads run through these varied projects:

  • Strengthen the individual through breath and meditation-based practices supported by a systemic approach to transforming the ecosystem
  • Empowerment of local leaders through specially designed leadership programs to work with the community and sustain long-lasting change
  • Multiple phases of service initiatives:
    • immediate relief
    • empowering the mind
    • mid to long-term sustainability with specific approaches

Even if one part of the world is not peaceful, our peace is not complete. ~ Sri Sri

Volunteer-driven

All the service programs are facilitated by dedicated Art of Living volunteers, taking responsibility for the quality of life of the world and lives around them. The humanitarian values espoused and lived by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar sustains the commitment of these volunteers. He guides with holistic perspectives, inspires a larger-than-life vision of making a difference and personally leads by example in serving society.
