Art of Meditation

The course is given over three days in 2 1/2 hour sessions each day. The Art of Meditation Course teaches Sahaj Samadhi Meditation, a graceful and natural meditation that allows the mind to settle naturally into meditation. When the mind settles down it lets go of stress and fatigue

"After taking the Art of Meditation course I feel an overall improvement in my energy although I sleep much less than I used to. I’m also more present for the everyday moments of my life and in my relationships with friends and family. I find that I’ve become a lot calmer and less reactive to events that would have bothered me before and have even noticed an increase in my creativity."

Art of Silence

The Art of Silence course, usually offered in residence over a minimum of 3 1⁄2 days, provides optimal conditions for going deep within, quieting our mental chatter, and experiencing profound rest and inner silence. This course builds upon the Sudarshan Kriya breathing technique offered in the Art of Living Part 1 course.

Art of Wholesome Eating (AWE)

The Art of Wholesome Eating is an empowering course bursting with knowledge from the lively ayurvedic tradition! It offers specific tools for your own constitution and kindles the fun of effortlessly cooking with energizing nutritious ingredients from around the globe.

Ayurveda recognizes that each individual has a unique constitution. In this course, the basic concepts of ayurveda are introduced in a dynamic manner, giving us a better understanding of our own personal needs.  The course gives us both the tools to recognize imbalances and the means to correct them. This knowledge answers many of the questions we often ask ourselves when we wish to improve our health and thrive on higher energy levels.

Whatever we eat becomes our body and mind. Though Ayurveda originates from India, cooking according to ayurvedic principles requires no change of eating style but rather, a reintroducing of harmony within the natural rhythms of nature and our beings, to support our own individual needs.

Using the most recent studies on foods, the vegetarian cookery demonstrations introduce ways of balancing our diet in a quick, easy, creative and delicious way.

"Amazing knowledge on how what we eat affects our bodies and minds…priceless wisdom and knowledge. Thank you for sharing this precious knowledge with us in Saskatoon."

Marma Chikitsa Practitioner Certification (MCP)

The marma points link to the subtle channels called nadis (similar to meridians in the Chinese system of medicine). Just as in the physical body the passageways become blocked by toxins, so too the tiniest of mental stresses will cloud or obstruct these subtle points, reducing the flow of energy.

Gentle pressure on the marmas releases the blocks and allows prana, or life energy to flow to the connecting organs or tissues giving them a new lease of life.

The Marma technique is potentially the most restorative of the Ayurvedic treatments as it harmonizes the body’s built-in energy network.
