About Us
- - Who We Are
    We are located on over 250 acres of wooded land in the beautiful Mauricie region of Quebec and offer programs for adults, young adult and youth, in yoga, breathing, and meditation.
  - History
    In order to accommodate the many people who were coming to courses the organization purchased 250 acres of land in the Maurice region of Quebec. We have grown from an original meeting space for 300 people to a hall holding 2,000.
  - Founder
    Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is humanitarian leader, spiritual teacher and ambassador of peace. His vision of a stress-free, violence-free society has united millions of people the world over through service projects and the courses of The Art of Living.

    All accommodation is assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis during courses. We are pleased to accommodate special requests whenever possible.
  - Organic Gardens
    The Centre has a five-acre certified organic garden consisting of fruit trees, herbs, vegetables, a pond, an area for small fruits (strawberries and blueberries) and a section for green manure to revitalize the soil.
  - Art of Living Boutique
    Our boutique carries a variety of French and English books and DVDs about meditation, yoga, health, Ayruveda, and cooking, as well as a variety of music.

    How far is the Centre from Montreal? The Centre is situated two hours (150 km/93 miles) east of Montreal, near the village of Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc in the pristine Quebec countryside.

    The Centre is located two hours from Quebec and Montreal. It is situated in the beautiful Maurice region, close to La Mauricie National Park.

    Currently the Centre’s facilities may be booked for group events. We have hosted youth conferences, retreats, and weddings and other celebrations.

    Isha Hall With its high 16-foot domed ceiling, the hall overlooks Lac Blanc and is surrounded by a terrace, with sunlight streaming through 24 windows.

    Delicious fresh vegetarian food is prepared for each meal. In the summer, you will be treated to vegetables and herbs picked the same day from our large organic gardens.
