1. Introduction

Just imagine if everybody smiled all the time and had no worries. The world would be such a boring place.

Nobody would be there to console you, cry, or make all sorts of funny faces. Wouldn’t it be so boring?

2. A movie with nothing

Would you like to watch a movie where there’s nothing, only flatlining? Someone comes in and eats, sleeps, and does nothing else.

Hey, come on, it’s so boring. Take life in all of its colorful ways. However life presents itself to your senses, just embrace it.

If you’re worrying too much, pinch yourself.

When sensations come up and there are too many sensations and thoughts, reduce them.

3. Attention on the body

If thoughts are too much, that means you don’t have any pain in the body.

Your mind, at one time, can either have intense sensations or worry. There can’t be both.

So when worry is there, put your attention on your body. Jump up and down! Run! When you run, you can’t worry. Can you?

When you’re panting and short of breath, running and panting, there’s no need to worry then.

If you keep sitting on the couch like a couch potato and keep eating potato chips, you’ll get worried.

4. Worry big

worry big

If you really want to worry, worry big.

Worry about what will happen in 100 years, climate change, our young people, students, and all that. There are so many big things.

Make your worry big if you can’t reduce it. What do you say?

5. Sing, dance, or shout

Enjoy worrying big. Sing and dance.

When others are singing and dancing, don’t spend your time just talking and doing something irrelevant, or keeping quiet and looking here and there.

You put in your 100 percent and sing! Then where’s the worry?

Do you want to worry? Okay, worry 100 percent. Do you want to sing? Sing 100 percent.

Do you want to yell and shout? Do it 100 percent, I tell you.

But later on, you will have to face the consequences. For the next two days, your throat may be sore. You may not be able to speak.

But it’s better to do anything 100 percent. What do you say?
