Lying Down on Sides

Lying Down on Sides

poses

Lying Down on Sides — Vishnuasana (VISH-nu-AA-SUN-aa) — provides an excellent stretch for the pelvic joints. This posture is named after Indian god Lord Vishnu, known as The Preserver, who is often depicted as lying on his side. The pose gets its name from the Sanskrit words, Vishnu and asana, meaning pose.
