From supporting the preservation of India’s rich heritage and indigenous cows to raising awareness of HIV-AIDS amongst rural adolescents, VVMVP’s multi-pronged initiatives have helped transform lives and maintain ecological balance.

Giving life a second chance
Alcohol and drug abuse can be detrimental to an individual’s and the society’s growth. The Alcohol & Drug Deaddiction and Research Center was set up by VVMVP to give people asecond chance at rebuilding their lives.

Providing aid to the needy
Apart from providing medical aid and trauma relief to those affected by disasters, The Art of Living also helps build sustainable futures by empowering the afflicted people.

Building sustainable villages
Through its 5H program, VVMVP has helped bring homes, health care, hygiene, human values and harmony in diversity to over 40,000 villages in India. Till date, over 100,000 rural youth has been trained and empowered.

Making women independent
As a part of its endeavor to promote economically self-reliant communities, The Art of Living’s women empowerment programs for the rural women provides them with sustainable and alternate means of income.
