Do I need to know the Sudarshan Kriya already?
For Saturday morning, yes: that part is only for those who have completed the Art of Living Part 1 course. The Happiness Festival and the Master Class Soak in Bliss are open to everyone.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes for the Sudarshan Kriya, something warm for the journey, things for one night away, and cash or a card for food at the venue.
I already have a ticket. Can I still come along?
Yes, choose the coach & hotel night package at €195. You travel with the same group, sleep at the same hotel and follow the same schedule.
Is food included?
On the way out, yes: one meal and drinks are included, which we eat together along the way. On the way back, no — bring whatever you want to eat and drink yourself. We leave at 23:00 and little is open on the road.
Food at the venue is not included either. Vegetarian food is on sale there all day, which you pay for yourself.
Where do I sleep?
On Friday night you sleep at a hotel in Munich, about 30 minutes' walk from BMW Park. That is included with the coach; there is nothing to add on. On Saturday at 09:00 the coach takes the group from the hotel to the arena.
I haven't done the course. Can I come?
Yes, of course you can come. The Happiness Festival on Saturday afternoon and evening is open to everyone, no course needed.
Want to join the exclusive part of the programme as well, the Live Sudarshan Kriya with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar? For that you need the Art of Living Part 1 course. You can still take it before the end of October and then come along. Do ask us which course near you starts in time.
Is there a satsang on Sunday evening?
Yes, a satsang has been announced for Sunday evening. It comes after the Master Class, which ends at 18:00. If you stay for it, you arrange your journey home and that extra night yourself; the hotels are listed under Where to stay in Munich.
I'm coming for the whole weekend. How do I travel?
Lovely that you are staying for the whole weekend. Our coach leaves Munich at 23:00 on Saturday, so from then on you plan your own journey: by train, plane or car. The same goes for the extra night.
Is there childcare?
We don't know; the programme at BMW Park is run by the team in Munich. Put that question to them directly, at happinessfestival@artofliving.de.
Until when can I register?
There is no fixed closing date, but don't wait for one: once it's full, it's full. The number of seats on the coach is limited and we work in order of registration.
On 17 October we send the first update to everyone who has registered.
Can I cancel or transfer my spot?
No full cancellations. Once you have signed up and paid, your spot cannot be cancelled for a full refund.
Partial refund. If you can no longer go, you can get 50% of your payment back — but only if you let us know by 15 October 2026. After that date, no refund is possible.
Transfer your spot. At any time you can transfer your spot to someone else, for example a friend or family member, at no cost, instead of cancelling. Let us know the new person's details as soon as possible so the booking can be updated.
Trip cancelled by the organisers? If the trip is cancelled — not enough sign-ups, or reasons outside our control — all payments are refunded in full.
Where and when do I get on?
There are four pick-up points on Friday 30 October: The Hague Centraal 06:30, Schiphol Airport (station) 07:15, Utrecht Centraal 08:15 and Eindhoven Centraal 09:45. We only stop in Utrecht if there are enough sign-ups; you will hear about that in the update of 17 October. You choose your pick-up point when booking. You get the exact address afterwards by email, together with a phone number for the journey. Be there at least a quarter of an hour early. On the way back we drive in reverse order, so on Sunday morning you are back where you got on.
