The lyrics of the song ‘Ishwar Basa’ is so beautiful, that the Divine is permeating every particle of this Universe. How to experience this in every moment of my life?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar:

Drop this ‘every moment’. Some things you should take for granted. For example, now you are in Bangalore. If you say, "Gurudev, I want to remember every moment that I am in Bangalore", I would say, "What is the need? You don’t need to remember, ‘Oh, I am in Bangalore, I am in Bangalore’. There is no need". When you get into the bath tub you feel the warmth of the water for a minute or so. But then you stop feeling that. Experience comes only in contrast. When you are in it then the experience fades away. Don’t hanker for any experience, just be normal. Do you see what I am saying?
You know your name, you don’t go on saying, "I want to remember my name", all the time. Where is the need? If you try to remember your name all the time, you’ll be called cuckoo, a gone case! There is no need. Similarly, Divinity is everywhere, in everything, you know it, that’s it.
