Powerful Maca-Hemp Protein
Smoothie Recipe

While travelling in North Carolina, I came across Luna’s Living Kitchen , a vegan/vegetarian restaurant that serves the best Grey Smoothie I ever had. Aptly named the Grey Hulk, this drink is a powerhouse of proteins and antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 whole banana
  • ¾ cup of hemp milk (you could even use almond milk)
  • 1 scoop of hemp protein
  • ½ scoop of maca powder
  • ½ scoop of spirulina

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine the hemp milk, berries, banana, hemp protein, maca powder and spirulina powder.

  2. Taste and add sweetener if necessary.

Benefits:

  • Hemp is an excellent source of protein and fiber.
  • Spirulina is a super food that contains vitamin B1, iron, protein and calcium.
  • Blueberries are an excellent fruit to help prevent aging and cancer.
