On Saturday 8th March, 2014 Volunteers started early spreading happiness at local Market prior to World Happiness Day. A team of volunteers got together at the local market giving patrons small hand made gifts. Gifts were made over several weekends with leftover material they could get their hands on, from plastic bottles to birthday card. Handmade gifts included Stress balls, Happiness Notebooks, Happiness Bookmarks and much more, each with a personal message.

The day started at 6.30am, getting down to the market, setting up stalls finishing at around 2pm. Smiles were spreading far and wide with everything from chuckles and a full ear to ear grin.

It was a great initiative to spread smile and happiness on the International women's day. Every volunteer was so very pepped up since early morning that they forget to have their breakfast.
They were giving small mementos in exchange of a beautiful smile. In one such occasion they gave small magnetic sticker to an old lady. She was so very pleased with this act that, she brought her grand daughter to show her what the volunteers were doing. But by that time it was around 2 PM and everything was packed, but there was still one small gift left for her in exchange of a beautiful smile.
Volunteers could not believe the response from people. Volunteers made the area so called Wi-Fi zone of smile, where no one can pass without a smile.
It was a very beautiful way to reach people and make them happy.
