“Voor het eerst naar India - wat een ervaring! En wat was het bijzonder om dit avontuur in een kleine groep te mogen beleven. Het werd niet zomaar een reis, maar ook een innerlijke reis. Een reis naar stilte, verdieping en verbinding, terwijl we tegelijkertijd een glimp mochten opvangen van het kleurrijke leven in de stad Mysore en de rijke cultuur van dit bijzondere land. India prikkelde werkelijk alle zintuigen: de geuren, kleuren, geluiden, tradities, de warmte van het klimaat én de mensen - alles voelde intens en vol leven. Maar het meest indrukwekkende was het verblijf in de Ashram, hoog op een heuvel. Daar, in de serene energie van Gurudev, vonden we de stilte en kracht van meditatie. En als bekroning: de Shivaratri viering; een magische nacht vol muziek, rituelen en meditatie, samen met 100.000 mensen, geleid door Gurudev. Onbeschrijfelijk indrukwekkend. Deze reis was niet alleen bijzonder, maar bijna magisch - een ervaring die me altijd bij zal blijven en waar ik elke dag nog de vruchten van pluk in mijn meditatie.” ~ Birgitta
