Article submission guidelines:

Whether you’re a long-time practitioner of yoga or meditation, an Ayurveda expert, a wellness enthusiast, or researcher and influencer in the fields of integrative medicine we want to hear your story! Write from a place of vulnerability and authenticity, from expertise and experience, or all of the above. Everyone has the wisdom to share--so share yours.

We love ORIGINAL articles (that have not been published or submitted elsewhere online or offline (including your personal blog) that are 400-2000 words, and that have something unique and of value to share with our readers. You are welcome to later republish the article on other sites including your personal blog, with a link back to the original post.

Please make sure that your blog isn’t a promotional piece. Keep the tone of your piece friendly, encouraging, optimistic, open-minded, and professional, while focusing on actionable tips.  

Before you submit, look at our style guide recent blog posts for insight into structuring and formatting your piece.

Journalistic responsibility is important to us, so please provide sources for all medical or health-related claims and quotes.

Once you’ve made sure that your article follows our style guidelines, send it to us at blog@us.artofliving.org, with the working title of your piece in the subject line. Here’s an example:

Please also provide a short bio around 120 characters with a headshot, and optionally a link to your website.

While we read and appreciate every submission, we’re a small team, and can’t respond to every email we receive. If your article is a good fit for publication on the Art of Living blog, we’ll respond within 14 working days. We will also then let you know as soon as your article has gone live and is ready for sharing with your audience.
