Why some people are rich and some are poor? If this is karma, can this be changed?

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar: Yes it can be changed. You know, it doesn't take much time for a rich person to become poor, and many times poor also become rich in short period of time. Don't think that it is karma for me to be poor and let me be like that. No! You can make effort to earn more wealth. There are different types of richness. Someone may have lot of money in the bank but they cannot eat proper food because they have diabetes or cholesterol. Some have good homes and good beds but they cannot sleep because they have insomnia. All this is not richness. You think someone is rich but they do not smile at all and there is no confidence in them. I won't call that richness.
