Blues (Part-2)

This is continued from Win Over the Monday Morning Blues (Part-1)

#5 Carry a Happy Attitude On Mondays

Victory over Monday blues is just a change in attitude away. Adjusting to the fast-paced weekly routine after a sluggish weekend might become easy if you trick your mind to believe that it is going to be an exceptionally nice day, and not a dull, dreary one. Meditation can help you as it brings you to the present moment, leaving behind any hangover that you might have of an excellent weekend gone by. Planning an outing with family or colleagues for Mondays will give you something to look forward to, to keep you going on Mondays.

#6 Make The Best Use Of Weekends

Is it a tough call for you to decide how to get the best out of your weekend? We can make it easier for you. You can schedule the weekend chores for Saturday mornings, an outing for Saturday evenings, and total relaxation for Sundays. Even if you are up until late on Saturdays, you can always compensate for it by sleeping on Sunday. This way, you won’t have to snooze your alarm for an extra five minutes on Mondays.

#7 Do Something Totally Different On Weekends

You have been repeating the same routine all through the week! It's time to get out of the rut once the weekend arrives. Do something different over weekends, like visiting a never-seen-before place, taking a roller-coaster ride at amusement parks, or taking a long drive to a beautiful city nearby. This will awaken your senses and give a gush of newness to the next week. Then close the week with something close to your heart, like visiting a holy place or visiting your best friend across the street.

#8 Stretch A Little More

While some things break your mundane routine, other things set the routine for the day or week. Yoga is one such thing. It is good to have a yoga regime, but it's even better if you can do it with family or a group of yogis. Weekends are a good time to socialize while doing yoga. You can also play music while practicing yoga in case you are not a very yoga-friendly person. Yoga is the union of mind, body, and consciousness. When all three are well connected, doing tedious tasks becomes easy. Here are a few yoga poses that can help you along the way.

Be 100% and celebrate! Look back and see how much you have gained in life, and relax with a smile. You are making more progress in life, and you have the added help of meditation, which is like a friend with you on your path. Have a great Monday!
