Patna: The Art of Living's Patna centre will celebrate the 61st birthday of guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Bank Road on Saturday. Over 1,000 followers are expected to attend the celebrations.
"Clothes and food items will be distributed among children of an orphanage and a 'puja' and 'satsangh' organized in the evening," said Art of Living faculty member Anand Desai on Friday, adding the happiness that social service gave was incomparable.
According to the organization's Patna centre adviser Meera Singh, a new drive to raise awareness about organic and inorganic farming among the local farmers will soon be organized.
