JKHCBA organises session on ‘stress free living’

Jammu: J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu organized a special session for its members on “stress free living”, here today.

The special session was conducted by Rajan Salaria, a senior member of the faculty of Art of Living. He demonstrated various techniques to deal with the stress in today’s busy life style of people particularly those who belong to the legal fraternity.

He gave various tips to the members for achieving success in their field and explained the significance of yoga and meditation in the life of human beings for living a peaceful and successful life.

Salaria said that the human body is designed to follow the day and night pattern of work and rest and to maintain good health, we need to rejuvenate our body and mind periodically. This can happen in two different ways–sleep and meditation. He said sleep regenerates cells and eases the tired body. It is essential for creativity and productivity at work. Meditation energizes and cleanses the mind. It frees the mind of wasteful thoughts and gives clarity, he added.

While speaking, General Secretary of the JKHCBA Prem Sadotra said that meditation is an easy and excellent way to shrug off stress and we can be benefited immensely from 20 minutes of meditation everyday.

He further assured the members that in future also JKHCBA will organize such special sessions which will be beneficial for health and profession.

Among others present were Sachin Gupta, Vice President, Chetan Misri, Treasurer, Abhinav Sharma, HC Jalmeria, Raghu Mehta, BS Charak, Ajay Bakshi, Vikas Sharma, Rohit Gupta, Brijesh Badyal and Divya Ishan.
