Eligibility:
According to the O.M. issued by Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, following officers are eligible to be sponsored by DoPT for this Program under the In-Service Training Scheme:
- All India Service (IAS, IPS &IFoS officers)
- Group ‘A’ officers working under Central Staffing Scheme in the GoI
- Officers of Central Secretariat Service (CSS) and Central Secretariat Stenographer Service (CSSS) (DS/Sr. PPS and above level)
All eligible IAS officers may give their willingness through Intra IAS portal while other officers should apply in the proforma given in the O.M. above.

Participation of Spouse/Family:
Spouse/family members are welcome to accompany the eligible officers and enjoy the campus. Parallel yoga/meditation programs for spouse and children can be arranged on request at an additional cost as applicable. Prior intimation is necessary. The spouse/family members may also register for regular Art of Living programs detailed on the website http://www.vvmvp.org.

Venue and Facilities
The Program shall be held at The Art of Living International Center which situated in the midst of Panchagiri Hills, 36 km southwest of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The campus, spread over 65 acres, is an ideal location for reflection and rejuvenation. The campus has an abundance of flowering foliage spread along winding footpaths, a peaceful lake, visiting birds, and the exquisitely beautiful Vishalakshi Mantap - the central training hall. The campus is well equipped with spacious rooms, in-house catering, training halls, recreation options, cafeterias, Wi-Fi, ATM, Laundry service, General store, Locker room etc. The accommodation will be on single occupancy basis. The extended campus houses a Vedic Gurukul, Goshala, Free Rural School, Ayurveda Panchakarma Center and several other places of interest. Kindly visit here to know more about the campus.

Vegetarian, light, simple meals will be served as a part of the Program. Consumption of tobacco, alcohol or other intoxicants is prohibited on the campus, and for the Program duration.
How to reach
The campus is well connected by road, situated right on the NH 209 called as “Kanakapura Road”. It is about 60 km (2 hours) from the Airport and 25 km (1 hour) from the City Railway Station.
General Instructions
Since Bengaluru is prone to heavy and unseasonal rains, all guests are requested to carry an Umbrella and rubber footwear for comfort. Guests may ensure carrying clothing conducive to do Yoga. Although the weather is expected to be pleasant, a light shawl or jacket will be helpful in mornings in evenings. Guests are also advised not to plan any other engagements during the Training Program since a) the Program itself is very tightly scheduled, and b) the campus is on the outskirts of the city. Participants are advised to carry copies of their ID proofs and copy of registration proforma etc. Prior intimation of your itinerary will help us serve you better.
